Mbamba Community Welcomes Green Transformation!
The Mbamba Community is the latest beneficiary of the Greening of Greater Yola initiative! Through this intervention, a solar-powered borehole has been installed to nurture trees planted along a 4-kilometer stretch from Fufore Junction, while also addressing the community’s long-standing water challenges.
With joy and gratitude, the community expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Adamawa State Government and Adamawa ACReSAL Project Coordinator Dr Ibrahim D. Chinda for this dual-purpose intervention—restoring the environment and providing much-needed water.
The community, led by their traditional leader, has pledged to protect and nurture the trees while ensuring the sustainability of these life-changing investments for future generations. This is a powerful testament to community ownership and environmental stewardship!
Thank you, Mbamba, for your commitment to building a greener and more sustainable Yola.
